Is it time for style icon Sarah Jessica Parker to finally pass the fashion torch? If your votes are any indication, yes.

After a tight race, Emma Watson managed to beat out the Sex and the City star and earn the top spot on our Best Dressed list.

Nearly 16,000 of you gave the young actress’s simple and chic Calvin Klein mini the thumbs up, putting her ahead of Parker by just a few hundred votes. It was close, but we’re not ordering a recount since we’re inclined to agree that Watson’s dress deserves the honor.

PHOTOS: SEE THE OTHER CELEBS WHO MADE THE TOP 10 MOST-LOVED LOOKS LIST!

Watson finished off the illusion-neckline dress with chunky sandals and a pulled-back hairdo at ELLE’s Women in Hollywood event on Monday night.

Parker attended the same event and also selected Calvin Klein Collection. But she donned an icy silver sheath, burgundy velvet pumps and sparkly drop earrings. Tell us: Do you think Watson was the best dressed star this week? Or did Parker deserve the top spot?

Emma wins hands down. Really no contest. Esp against SJP.

I’m not a fan of the dress but I love emma watson’s style… she makes everyday styles look amazing.

Really cute for someone her age and body type.

I love her style… always cute and respectable outfits. Her body parts aren’t busy popping out of a dress that is too small. Emma appears to be a well balanced young woman, best wishes!

I remember at a premier one time her dress flew open (it was a wrap-like dress i think), and her underwear were exposed. She responded by saying “at least I wear underwear.” I think that shows her class in an age of classless stars.

she looks like a man.

Don on

She’s a pretty lady but that outfit is no big deal.

That outfit would look better draped over the foot of my bed. ;-)

Really!?? Stand up girl. No slouching in hollywood.

I’m glad she has hair again.

I think Emma looks awesome in this outfit, and I agree she looks great in almost everything

It looks kind of plain to me.

There is a lot that I like about this picture, and Emma herself – First, I do love the dress. I thought it was cute how she is standing sort of awkwardly, not with her legs crossed, hand on the hip, body twisted like so many do on the red carpet to create the illusion of being thinner than they already are. And it’s a very understated, classy look, not dripping in diamonds and accessories.

This…. this is the outfit that put Emma Watson on the best dressed list????? She’s an adorable girl and she’s worn some fabulous outfits and had fabulous hairstyles and this is look you chose?

Respectable? She showed half of her boobs in all the premieres of her last film to promote it…

I don’t like this dress, but generally L.O.V.E. Emma’s style. I have a huge girl crush on her. I still covet that yellow marchesa dress she wore awhile back…
