From flared jeans to open-toe booties, there are tons of great fall trends to try right now, but none are as versatile as a leather moto coat. It’s chic, timeless and makes just about any outfit look a bit more badass.

Kat Dennings threw hers over a red sheath and nude pumps, which took the dress from uptown to downtown; Kate Moss‘s topper turned her leggings and tee into a cool-girl outfit.

Another one of our favorite fashionistas, Jessica Alba, toughened up a printed A-line skirt and sparkly Rupert Sanderson heels with the edgy jacket. And Nicole Scherzinger took a similar route to Moss by wearing it with a T-shirt, black jeans and mid-calf boots.

So if you don’t already own a black moto jacket, what are you waiting for? As these ladies prove, you can wear it with almost anything. And of course, we’re always here to help, so here are three options under $150 that we’re loving: a vegan version, a cropped style with front zips  and one with asymmetrical zippers. Tell us: Who do you think wore her moto jacket best? And what are you going to wear yours with?
