Watch Brad Pitt’s Second Chanel Commercial

He’s back for round two. Brad Pitt‘s latest Chanel No. 5 commercial debuted on Tuesday, and it’s similar to the first except this time the actor is joined by two female costars.

Pitt narrates two scenes: one featuring a dark-haired woman gazing out a floor-to-ceiling window in a high-rise building overlooking a nighttime cityscape, and the other with a blonde who appears to be walking on water surrounded by mountains.

About halfway through the 30-second clip, it switches to black-and-white and a long-haired Pitt speaks directly to the camera.

We prefer the first spot to the second since it includes more Pitt sightings (can you blame us?), but how about you? Tell us: What do you think of Pitt’s latest ad campaign? Is it sexy or strange?

Bad Commercial. They could have found someone with a little more sex appeal. He just seems so boring and his voice lifeless. And I am sure he was paid millions. This did not sell the scent at all!

Zoolander has always been one of those movies I never tire of as it’s always good for a chuckle…this commercial definitely has an essence of “Blue Steel”…. Chanel – don’t feel bad if your intended impression doesn’t pan out…it’s bringing smiles/laughter to the world and that’s not such a bad thing. :)

This is terrible. The man does nothing for me. He sure doesn’t look like he has the good life. The last 3-4 years he has slowly gone to pot. Maybe that’s it.He drinks, he smokes and does pot (who knows what else), plus his new lifestyle. He’s a mess.

What a waste. I would have done MUCH more with Brad Pitt than this cryptic nonsense. Whoever this was Written and Produced by needs to return their paycheck! Brad Pitt did the best with what he was given..

I had to watch because it’s getting so much hoopla. Sorry, Brad Pitt is just NOT sexy (anymore. He’s the only man I know who is not getting sexier with age!). Bad commercial. Very bad. I wear Coco Chanel and Chanel Chance and this commercial would NOT make me want to add No. 5 to my collection. It could have been a great commercial if they just had sultry music playing in the background and left him out all together!! I suggest a re-do!

This commerical is much better, speaking directly into the camera like it’s the woman; the women and scenes are good as well, but it’s really Mr. Pitt and the direct look that sells it. I know, I know, viewing Mr. Pitt is VERY pleasing, but just a tad of him makes a huge impact. I think this one is better then the first one. The first one, Mr. Pitt seemed bored and didn’t really want to be there, but the few shot of him and him speaking directly into the camera – Perfect!
