Jennifer Aniston‘s hair has changed lives — how could we ever forget “The Rachel”? — and now, the actress hopes to have an even bigger influence on the hair care industry, inking a deal as a spokesmodel and investor of Massachusetts-based product line Living Proof.

“Over the years, my hair has been subjected to everything … blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons, color, extensions, you name it. My hair has taken a serious beating,” Aniston says in a release. “After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day. I could not be more excited to share Living Proof with the world.”

What sets Living Proof apart from other hair care brands is science: the line was founded in part by Dr. Robert Langer, a professor at MIT, and it uses real scientists to solve tough beauty problems (don’t worry, they’re still working to solve real scientific problems in their labs, too).

As part of the deal, Aniston will assist in development and marketing, and will collaborate with the brand’s stylists and scientists on new product ideas. According to the Wall Street Journal, the star was first sold on the 7-year-old line while filming in North Carolina and successfully using the frizz-fighting cream in the 100-percent humidity.

Living Proof hair care products are available at Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, QVC and on LivingProof.com; Aniston’s campaign is expected to shoot in November and will go national shortly thereafter. Tell us: Is Aniston a good choice for a hair care brand? Will you check out the line because of her?

Well since a 43 year old woman still trying to be 20 tells you to use this product, who tests on animals, we are all suppose to run out and get it??

Not from this woman no, never she could be giving anything away and I wouldn’t want it. I think she is a fake and not a nice person.

Love her. Love this brand. Have tried it, does really tame curly wavy hair for blowouts. I’ve only used the spray. Hated the conditioner, sadly.
