Forget wedding blogs! If Jessica Biel‘s latest look is any indication, the engaged actress has been spending her time reading the Man Repeller blog instead.

On Monday, Biel was spotted shopping in Paris (in the rain) wearing three items of clothing in studded leather.

The actress donned a loose-fitting red leather jacket (does it make anyone else want to break into Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance?), black leather ankle pants and leather booties — all featuring the same edgy metal detailing and all by Isabel Marant.

Had Rihanna or Rita Ora stepped out in this ensemble, we probably wouldn’t be writing about it right now, but when we saw the look on Biel, we had to wonder about her style 180.

While she does go all out on the red carpet, we’re most used to seeing her on the street in leggings and a workout top or jeans and a tee.

Don’t get us wrong: We love leather and we love studs as much as they next girl, but unless you’re looking to join a biker gang, moderation is key.

Tell us: Do you think Biel went overboard with her studded leather getup? Would you suggest she lose the jacket, the pants or the boots to improve the look?
