More Details on Anne Hathaway’s Valentino Wedding Gown — and That Headpiece

No wedding dress is pretty enough to distract from her Joker-like big mouth.

Maybe it’s just me but I thought she looked beautiful. From what we can see anyway. :)

I think her gown is beautiful but I simply can’t get past the headpiece. I’m sure some love it, but for me I find it quite distracting; it takes away from the dress.

I absolutely agree with Jane. And there’s nothing at all wrong with the headpiece. It suits her and the gown.

Gorgeous!! I love Valentino – wish I could afford that type of gown. The picture of Anne and her hubby doesn’t look great but the sketch is divine! I hope we can see a better picture of the bride (and groom!). I love the pink – and so did Gwen Stefani!

I think the headpiece might look very nice close up. From a far distance you can’t see any of the details in it, which are no doubt lovely. The dress was stunning.

The headpiece is very Anne…I adore her, the dress and even the headpiece.

I think everyone with their “not so nice comments” should keep it to themselves. Everyone woman has their own personal style, especially on her wedding day. Anyone who does not like it should mind their own business. She looked stunning on her special day.

I think her hair is adorable short……..she looks like a beautiful pixie…….love it. Beautiful dress.

WOW! Breathtaking…I have never seen a more beautiful dress…just lovely! And the head piece was perfect for her, gorgeous. Maybe we should all be so lucky to look beautiful like that. Why be so negative? JUST GORGEOUS!

I think Anne looks amazing. I know she cut her hair and lost a lot of weight for her role in Les Miz, and some people are making comments about that but she pulls it off. Valentino is know for timeless classic looks and Anne’s dress and veil is pure beauty. She looked breathtaking, and created a once in a lifetime dress for her day. She deserves it after all she has been through. I wish her and Adam all the best for a lifetime of happiness!! Mazel Tov!!

The gown is gorgeous. But that heavy skull-cap is all wrong. You have a whimsical dress, then this horrible headpiece…bizarre.

Most gorgeous dress I’ve seen in a long time, and the headpiece is amazing!

I don’t know how I feel about the headpiece because the pic is so blurry. The quality of the photo is not high enough for me to really have an opinion. From the sketch it looks amazing and compliments the dress well. Valentino knows what they are doing, so my guess is that it looked amazing

Anne was a lovely bride, wearing a gorgeous dress, and frankly, if I had her head shape and her ears, I would wear my hair like hers every day!! Sorry you were raised by your vicious older brother; surely your mother would have taught you to have more class. Texas is embarrassed!

The dress is gorgeous but the headpiece reminds me of a Civil War head bandage but she liked it and it was her wedding.

It is her wedding dress….she chose it and who is anyone else to say anything about it?

That dress is beautiful. It’s just too bad they made that headpiece so huge. She looks like she just had brain surgery. Why would they do that to her?!

I thought she was beautiful! That gown was magical. Only she could pull off that head piece and look gorgeous.

I am not sure how critics can really comment on the headpiece with the one grainy aerial shot of her and Adam. Brides with long hair have the hair to add to their overall look but since she has short hair, the headpiece adds a unique beauty. The dress is stunning. Her day was done the way she wanted and that is what matters…not what others think.

Maybe it’s just a bad picture of the head piece from a bad angle. The dress is gorgeous.

I thought her dress and headpiece were gorgeous. I wish there had been a close-up photo of the headpiece. I like the fact that they were both different from the usual strapless dresses and headband or tiara headpieces. They’ve all been done to death. But the bottom line is the bride’s satisfaction with her outfit, not ours.

When you choose acting as a job, then you owe the fans that support you. She doesn’t need to release her personal wedding pictures, but alteast release pictures of the dress from the designer.

The dress is gorgeous and so is she! I would totally wear that dress for my own wedding someday. If I could only afford it…

It’s a really beautiful fairytale dress – I absolutely love it and she is gorgeous in it. I’m not much on the way the headpiece is done – I do like the way it flows down her back – don’t like the “head” portion of it as much.

That being said – it’s HER wedding and if she liked it and chose it for her big day, my opinion is not very important in the scheme of things. She looked absolutely radiant and beautiful.

What a gorgeous wedding dress! Reminds me of a billowy cloud! Just beautiful!

LOVED the gown, truly fairy princess. Headband, not so much. If you look in the sketch, however, you will see why – the flower on paper was smaller and prettier and better proportioned. What she ended up with was a big, obnoxious bloom sprouting from her head, Not so pretty. The scale of the accent was way off, which threw off the look.

I love the old hollywood, glam vintage look. It’s classic, sleak, and sexy without showing off too much. As for those with negative things to say, post up your wedding pics and let us comment, and if you don’t have wedding pics, cork it.

The dress and headpiece looks so much better in the illustration. The headpiece is much smaller, more delicate and appropriate. Traipsing around in the dirt wearing all that tulle looks silly. Maybe that’s why bride and groom look less that thrilled.
