We’re well aware of your feelings on her bridal headpiece, but Anne Hathaway‘s wedding gown was quite a dream. And, surprise — it was partially pink!

The custom Valentino creation — worn for the star’s nuptials to Adam Shulman in Big Sur, Calif., last Saturday — was imagined by the designer himself, and made by seamstresses in the brand’s couture atelier in Rome.

According to a rep for Valentino, the design team created a strapless ivory silk point d’esprit tulle dress, which includes a pink hand-painted shaded train embroidered with satin flowers. The 1920s-inspired veil consists of a lace ribbon with a large flower, adorned with small crystal beads.

“The wedding was lovely and Anne looked gorgeous,” a source tells PEOPLE, adding that the bride skipped jewelry and let the gown and veil take center stage. “She looked very pretty.” Tell us: Now that you know more about the gown, do you love it?

The most beautiful weddng dress I’ve ever seen. It is so elegant yet…… whimsical. By the description, the headpiece sounds gorgeous too. It would be fun to see a close-up picture. Love Anne’s work and wish her all the happiness in the world!

I think the headpiece might look very nice close up. From a far distance you can’t see any of the details in it, which are no doubt lovely. The dress was stunning.

I love it… so feminine and not all about being sexy…. just beautiful

The headpiece is very Anne…I adore her, the dress and even the headpiece.

WOW!
The dress is stunning, just like the bride herself.
From what I can tell she looked beautiful on her wedding day!!!
Too bad she cut her hair, though, because IMO long hair suit her better. Still, she will always be a beautiful woman.

I think everyone with their “not so nice comments” should keep it to themselves. Everyone woman has their own personal style, especially on her wedding day. Anyone who does not like it should mind their own business. She looked stunning on her special day.

I have never seen a more dreamy, ethereal, romantic, breath-takingly beautiful wedding dress. The sense of her joy pours through that unbelievable gown. Valentino, you are magnificent. I wish my daughter could have a dress as this one which conveys the myriad of feelings in a long-awaited wedding day!

I think her hair is adorable short……..she looks like a beautiful pixie…….love it. Beautiful dress.

She rocked that headpiece!!! Not many people can pull that off, but she did so with ease. And why are people ragging on her looks? Her looks go against the atypical Hollywood actress which is exactly why she’s so beautiful!

It is beautiful and perfect for her grace and beauty. She is classy, unique, and timeless. Enough said!
