Exclusive: Watch Kristen Bell's First Shoppable Movie for Target
If you’re like us, you’ve spent plenty of time coveting Kristen Bell‘s wardrobe. Target knows that — and they’ve made it a cinch to get her cute clothes with one click. In the debut episode of Target’s mini-movie Falling for You, starring Bell, Nia Long and cutie Zachary Abel, viewers get their first glimpse of the 110 shoppable fashion, beauty and home items selected by celeb stylist Jen Rade. (We’ve got an exclusive look at the video here, but to nab the clothes you crave, check out the shoppable version at Target.com).
The three actors all were excited to team with Target due to their loyalty to the brand (Bell loves that they’re “on point with their trends,” while Long and Abel both note that they visit Target at least once a week) — and they all found items from the carefully curated set that they wanted to take home.
“The shoes I wore were so comfortable,” says Long, “and I loved the black skirt that I wore in the final scene.” Abel’s pick was a little more personal: “I definitely took a pair of Mossimo purple boxer-briefs with yellow bananas all over them.”
For Abel and Bell, the geek appeal was too much to pass up, too. “It was really interesting technology … [and a] very desirable way for a product to reach a consumer,” Bell tells PEOPLE. And Shawn Gensch, Target’s senior vice president of marketing, is equally psyched about the film’s cast. “We couldn’t be more pleased with the chemistry and performance of this group,” he says, adding that “guests should … [be] pleasantly surprised by how easy and seamless it will be to shop and share the product featured.”
As for the plot of the film (shot over three episodes and culminating in a live viewing experience on Oct. 10), the team remains tight-lipped — though Abel did share one on-set surprise. “I don’t think my fellow castmates understood my commitment to being a nudist and a method actor,” he jokes. “Suffice it to say, Kristen and I did not rehearse our make-out scene!” Consider us hooked!
