Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars offered emotional highs, low scores and, of course, a whole lotta glitter. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba brought her own brand of sparkle to the dance floor, too — and tells us all about it exclusively today.

For Monday’s show, “I chose an electric-blue Alberto Makali halter gown,” Inaba tells PEOPLE. “The color was so vibrant I couldn’t resist!”

Stylist Kit Scarbo added a bit of bling to the look with diamond earrings and a pearl ring from Erica Courtney, and the serious “vertabracelet” (actually the $850 pave “Dinosaur Bones” cuff) from Noir. “Kit found that beautiful piece and we built around it,” Inaba explains. “It might be my favorite piece of jewelry of all time. It’s so unique … and sensual.”

Makeup artist Joanne McCarthy gave Inaba some lengthy lashes and a neutral lip, so to counter that, hair stylist Anna Maria Orzano majorly pumped up the volume on the judge’s mane. “We did big hair in honor of Tina Turner,” Inaba shares. “Every once in a while you have to have a little fun!” Our fashion philosophy exactly! Tell us: What do you think of Inaba’s week two Dancing look? What else do you want to see her wear this season?

I totally got the Tina Turner vibe that they were going for with her look last night, and it was very glamorous. I honestly thought it was a bit over the top when I saw her last night, but I completely agree that sometimes you just need to have a little fun. I was talking to a coworker at DISH about the show, and she loved how Kirstie Alley dressed for her performance last night. I think it is great how confident she is, and I think that attitude is what got her though with a decent score last night. I missed the first part of the show watching Bones with my boys, but luckily I was able to catch it on a recording that my Hopper made for Primetime Anytime. It is so nice not having to set timers or worry about storage space, and I can keep up with all of my favorite shows. In the future I think Carrie Ann should tone down the color, and go for an elegant look.
