See Britney Spears's New Multicolored Mane

She’s gone blonde, brunette, even bald, but this is something we’ve never seen on Britney Spears before.

The pop star debuted teal, blue and hot pink tips over the weekend at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. And Spears must have been happy with how her My Little Pony-inspired mane came out because she decided to stick with the look, wearing it out in Calabasas, Calif., on Monday.

We’re used to seeing this kind of bold ‘do from her X Factor co-judge Demi Lovato, but Spears has been playing it relatively safe with her strands since joining the show, sticking with her signature blonde color.

So, we’re a little surprised to see the singer sport such a funky hairstyle. That said, we have to give Spears props for trying something fresh (and having the style sense to rock her Technicolor mane with a simple LBD).

Lovato would surely love Spears’s new locks. But with rumors once again swirling that Simon Cowell demanded Spears overhaul her wardrobe, we do have to wonder what the tough critic would say about this new look. Tell us: What do you think of Spears’s bright hair?

Oh for goodness sakes, leave her alone! Can’t she just have a little fun???

Some people are so judgemental nowadays!!! They just like to criticize everything about any celebrity who they don’t like. I personally don’t like her hair style but if she likes it, then good for her. I like how she’s moving on with her life, staying positive at all times. Go Britney!!

Is she 13 years old?

Why does she always have that smirk on her face? She looks like she smells something bad.

I think she has forgotten she is a grown up with children now. She looks like a teen with that silly mess.

I really like her mane!

Ah, it’s okay. I think I would like it if she was in her late teens/early twenties…I’d expect a girl that age to rock this do, but on a 30 something, it’s just okay. I don’t hate it. Still love you though Britney!

I think this kind of thing is best left to the kids, not for mom’s in their 30s.

It kills me that no matter what Britney does people have to bring her down. This girl hit rock bottom but she climbed back to the top she deserves major props for that cuz lots of people never come back after such a public meltdown. Also there’s always a double standard for women…men who are in their 40′s 50′s and even 60′s date very young women and dress and act like they’re in their 20′s and it’s accepted by society but if a woman acts younger than she is than everyone has something negative to say. As a man I am going to say way to go Britney and I love that you are more comfortable with yourself and doing what you want and not caring what people say. And on another note you are rocking it as an X Factor judge…you really surprised me at how good you are and how much you changed and all for the better. Best of luck with all you do.
