Why Giuliana Rancic's HSN Collection Almost Didn't Happen
“I started working on the collection two years ago,” Rancic tells PEOPLE. “It was almost finished, but then I found out I had breast cancer and it put everything on hold.”
The Fashion Police host goes on to explain that after she beat cancer she resumed working on the line, but several pieces she had designed no longer made sense. “It was a spring collection and with the timing we were going into fall/winter. We went back to the drawing board and started over.”
But it was worth the wait. The affordable apparel and outerwear collection — ranging from $29.90 to $129.90 — features faux-leather jackets, skirts, dresses, leggings, skinny jeans, blouses and a faux-fur reversible vest, which happens to be one of Rancic’s favorite pieces. “You can wear it at 16 and look super cool or at 60 and look amazing,” she explains. “If a woman wears it, her daughter will want to borrow it.”
