Why Pink Approves of Miley Cyrus’s Hairstyle

When Miley Cyrus and Pink showed up to the MTV Video Music Awards sporting similar hairstyles, the claws came out … among fans. But as it turns out, Pink is flattered that Cyrus is trying something new — and wishes other women would follow suit.

“Everyone has long, brown hair,” Pink said Tuesday morning during an appearance on Today. “When two girls get fearless and shave their heads, it’s a big deal. I think we’re just a little more daring.”

When asked how it felt to have Miley “steal” her look, Pink replied that she’s actually a fan of the young pop star.

“I think she’s beautiful,” she said. And as for the hair, “I think she rocks it way harder than I do.” Tell us: Have you ever tried a daring new hairstyle?

“Pink needs to shut her mouth and act like more like a woman than a rebellious teenager?” Let’s see top selling albums, worked through problems in her relationship because she was in love and refused to give up easily, cover girl, speaks her mind about being strong, supports younger artist because she is daring and doesn’t want to look like a clone of the other artists…I would say she is a pretty good role model for any girl and her own daughter.

Miley Cyrus should not rock the shorter do! Her ears are too big and mis shaped to be rockin that short of hair. Cover those dumb-bo’s up MILEY!

Celebratethehorse – if you are so concerned about the world, why are you sitting at your computer, reading a gossip story on People? Shouldn’t you be out, chasing windmills or something meaningful?

Pink is a class act, she is the perfect role model for young women. She has been through a lot in her life and has come out on top. She doesn’t engage in the mud slinging that so many do (disregard her tiff with Linda, that was not something SHE went out of her way to talk about).

I am glad my daughter loves her music as much as I do. And we both hope that she and Carey are one of the wonderful exceptions in the celebrity world and will be together for life.
