How Does Avril Lavigne Imagine Looking on Her Wedding Day?

She’s rocked head-to-toe black — not to mention a rainbow of hair hues — but when Avril Lavigne makes her way down the aisle to wed fiancé Chad Kroeger, she’ll be all dressed in white.
Or something like that.
“I have my idea of what I want,” she tells PEOPLE. “It might be something that I buy a few different dresses and rip them up and put them all together and dye them, or maybe I’ll kind of do a collaboration with another designer.”
Lavigne, who presented her four-year-old Abbey Dawn line Monday at New York Fashion Week‘s STYLE 360, says it’s too early to get specific, and she hasn’t started the shopping process just yet. She hasn’t ruled out creating her own wedding look, either.
But she already has the right accessory for her big day: her 14-carat engagement ring.
“I can’t take it off. I sleep with it on,” she says of the diamond stunner. “It goes with every outfit.”
She jokes, “Get engaged. It’s the perfect accessory for every outfit. I did it. You should, too.”
Ring aside, Kroeger has made his mark on Lavigne’s comparatively casual wardrobe staples, as well; after giving him some Abbey Dawn duds, she told him, “Babe, you’ve gotta hook me up with one of your tour T-shirts.” Now she has a Nickelback T-shirt and a hoodie.
“I wear [them] all the time. I have to. I miss him,” the self-proclaimed “Chad fan” says. “And I’m representing. I’m supporting.”
