Do You Like Jennifer Lawrence’s Dramatic New Hair Color?

Katniss is back! Jennifer Lawrence realigned herself with her iconic Hunger Games character this weekend, debuting a striking, darker ‘do at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The actress showed off her freshly dyed mane at the Sunday premiere of her new film, Silver Linings Playbook, offsetting her sleek brunette locks with a plum lip and killer tie-dye Christian Dior Couture gown. The result? A vibe we can only describe as “haute-goth-princess” — and we mean that as a compliment.

We think the dramatic hue looks pretty fab on her. Do you agree? Tell us: Do you prefer Lawrence as a blonde or brunette? Vote below!

I love them both! She is such a beautiful young lady, with an exceptional sense of style and SELF. I like to see her rock some auburn tresses sometime…

The hair color look nice either way. She just has the worst bangs ever!!! Thankfully, we don’t see them in this picture!

I like how whoever wrote this article didn’t do their research, not knowing that Katniss, in fact, has brown hair, and then when a bunch of readers commented on it and pointed out the mistake, their comments were deleted and the mistake was fixed like it never happened. Rude, People. This magazine used to be so on top of things, but now it seems to be going downhill.

I think she would look better as a brunette, but I think this particular shade is too dark for her, so I voted blonde. That being said, she is stunning and I absolutely love her.

So I post a comment about how this article has been revised.. due to your own reader’s comments correcting you and how you owe your readers a thanks for making you look in the know instead of oblivious… and almost instantly my comment is deleted!?! On what grounds? I did not cuss.. say anything mean or foul… just pointed out your writer’s little mis-hap. Own up to your mistakes.. it connects you with your readers. And each and every one of those correctional comments deserves a thank you.. not a deletion.

i think it’s hysterical that they had no idea earlier this morning why she would have changed her hair color and now they’ve updated the article…

I don’t like either dark brown or blond here. It looks like her natural color might be light borwn and I think she’d look great with it.

shes not that great looking i have seen prettier women ont he street.

With the brown hair color she would definitely make a GREAT Anastasia Steele for Fifty Shades of Grey!!!

Her face is just…unfortunate. The makeup artists always pile on the eye liner and eye shadow and foundation to try to disguise it, but they just can’t. She looks like a COMPLETELY different person without makeup on. That is not what I would call a “natural” beauty.
