While Blake Lively and Salma Hayek were turning heads in Venice this weekend, a different, under-the-radar star was eliciting ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs,’ too: Laetitia Casta.

The 34-year-old French actress, who began her career as a model for brands like GUESS, Victoria’s Secret, L’Oréal Paris, Ralph Lauren and Vivienne Westwood, is a member of the jury at this year’s Venice Film Festival. She’s been making a splash all week on the red carpet, and earned many a double-take when she arrived at the premiere of The Reluctant Fundamentalist in a nearly nude black lace number.

But Saturday, the actress stepped out in a slightly more demure dress, one with ultra-feminine layers of peach tulle, streaks of glitter and a high, embellished neckline. She finished her look with red lips, romantic brunette waves and girly pink T-strap pumps.

Though she may not be as familiar as America’s beloved Venice stars — Lively and Kate Hudson among them — we think Casta deserves just as much attention for her lovely wardrobe. Tell us: Do you like Casta’s dress?
