Remember the “swimming costumes” of yesterday? Taylor Swift, Jaime King and Naomi Watts certainly do. All three starlets opted for vintage-inspired, covered-up swimsuits this summer — ‘granny-style’ suits if you will — a trend that seemed to make its way back this season.

We’re not saying that one-piece suits aren’t sexy; Beyoncé and Daisy Fuentes definitely looked glam when they wore super-hot, somewhat covered-up swimwear this summer. But are these granny-style suits — with their extra material and so-sweet silhouettes — necessarily a good look?
