All I can say is “Yikes!”

Forgive me, all, for being negative. But this is NOT a good look for her. It didn’t work for Ashlee Simpson either. There is only ONE Twiggy.

Cute! Age appropriate and fun. And it’s hair – it grows back – one of the easiest changes to make because it’s something that isn’t permanent. I have a 25 yr old daughter who hasn’t had her natural hair color since she was 14 so I understand ‘experimenting’.

I predict the break-up announcement anytime now. Maybe I’m wrong, but (speaking as someone who got a pixie cut myself at one point), I think most women cut their hair off in response to some frightening/stressful/depressing life situation. Which is not to say they don’t look great, and that happy women don’t have short hair. We cannot accept dreadlocks. Our manufacturer is not able to use them in our children’s hairpieces. We also cannot accept wigs, falls, hair extensions or synthetic hair.
Layered hair is acceptable if the longest layer is 10 inches.

This new hair style looks very nice and pretty on her. She has hair, and she said that she feels more like herself in the new hairdo, and I’m very proud of her for bringing out her inner girl and personality out to the world. It only matters what she thinks, not anybody else who thinks that they have a right to insult her. It is also very sweet how she is supporting her husband to be. Support is always an essential element in marriage.

I remember back in the 70′s I had my hair cut similar to this, except the top was a little bit shorter. I loved it , not to mention easy to care for. back then it was called the “Nova” cut.

All young girls experiment with identities. One month they want to be a girly girl, the next they are punk, then it’s vintage, or boho, and on and on. As soon as girls find they can be all of these things, and not go off the deep board into any one thing, they come into their own, and the extremes go away. She will grow up, she is growing up, but she is doing it in front of the cameras. I don’t like her hair this way, it looks like she is trying to hard to be someone she isn’t, but eh, it will grow, and she will grow up. We can’t be too hard on her.

When I look at the pic I see a poor innocent girl (contrary to her larger than life persona).. She was forced to grow up too fast and to love attention to feel important, sadly she looks like shes headed for self distraction

ya know, whether you like the cut or not, or if you like miley or not, for that matter, i’ll be honest with you. i’m a 36-year-old professional mother and wife, and i WISH i had the courage to do what she just did. maybe not the same cut, but something drastic that i want. good for you, miley. all you naysayers, i hear what you’re saying, but she’s still young (and rich) and you all looked at the story same as i did! :)

Okay, so having cut boob length hair to a pixie about 2 years ago, i understand how annoying it is to get told you look like a d*ke, 12 year old boy, etc. However, she does bear a striking resemblance to Draco Malfoy. It’s her hair, she’s free to do what she wants with it although this hair style is bad. if she had full on pixied, or done something slightly less atrocious i think the reception would be better. But cutting all you’re hair off does make you feel free and powerful and beautiful like it did for me, you GO GIRL!

There are a few that look good with short, spunky, hair like that, Miley Cyrus isn’t one of them. It honestly looks like the scissors woke up on the wrong side of the hair salon and attacked her. She should have stuck with her shoulder length hair, you can always do a classy edge cut with shoulder length hair. This, THIS is just short hair gone wrong…..

She looks very much like Edie Sedgewick from the 60′s. Edie was very edgy but she was beautiful. I think Miley looks really good in this as long as she keeps a heavy hand on the eye makeup. You need that to pull this look off. She has been dressing very elegantly on the red carpet lately so it will be interesting to see how this hair affects her choices for those events.

2) I’ve found that most women hide behind long hair because they’re not very attractive and/or secure enough to show that much of their face.
3) Most women are more concerned with what they THINK men like. Trust me…a LOT of men LOVE short hair!!!

Since I cut my hair into a pixie 5 years ago, I get SOOOOOOOO many more compliments from men AND women. I don’t know if I can go back to long hair again. You have to have a beautiful face to pull off short hair like this, and Miley definitiely does. I LOVE it!!!
