What’s Katy Perry’s Latest Hair Color?

No more crayon-colored hair for Katy Perry! The pop star — known for her wacky, risky style — decided to go, well, pretty standard for most (yet somewhat unexpected for her) recently: she dyed her hair black.
The singer, who’s been sporting long purple locks since April, not only went darker in hue, but also shorter in length, opting for a sleek, chic bob. She debuted the new look at a photocall for her film, Katy Perry: Part of Me, in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on Monday.
The hairstyle is rather demure and conventional for someone who’s rocked every color of the rainbow on her head, including purple, blue, lavender, red and her natural color, blonde. Perhaps the singer is returning to her adopted roots; after all, she did launch her mega-successful career with black tresses. Tell us: What do you think of Perry’s short, black hair?
