Scantily Clad Kellie Pickler Salutes the Troops

Kellie Pickler is baring her, ahem, assets for Maxim‘s “Salute to the Military” issue.

The American Idol alum turned country star dons lingerie-inspired looks by the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Prada and Hervé Léger in the latest issue of the men’s magazine.

She also reveals something else: her tattoos! “My grandmother would be mortified if she knew I had these,” Pickler says. “She’s passed away now, but she would say, ‘Tattoos are the devil!’ So my first tattoo, of course, was my grandma’s name. I also have stars on my left arm for my USO tours, but I’m missing two.”

And though the singer is happily married, she shares some advice about dating a country girl. “We might be [trouble], but we can also con our way out of it,” she jokes. “A country girl can talk her way out of a ticket. Not that I’ve ever been pulled over …”

But a half dressed celebrity being held up by four men in uniform is OK, right?? Those two women were reprimanded for promoting a cause while in uniform. Wonder if these guys will be reprimanded for promoting magazine sales. And even though these may be models, it’s still a misuse of the uniform to me.

The reason the military is upset with the breast feeders is because they are not wearing the uniform properly not because they are feeding their kids. This photo the men look to be wearing their uniforms correctly. Ms pickler is entertaining the troops not whipping out her juggs in protest. She looks fabulous!!!!

I like her Retro underwear its cool. She reminds me of the days of Marilyn Monroe entertaining the Troops. She actually looks fairly CLASSY for these days.

@roo67 – in fact, she IS whipping our her “jugs”, but for another cause she believes in (which is cool with me!). I don’t mind her flaunting it for this Men’s magazine, but now that I’m a mom, it makes much more sense why people get upset about breastfeeding in public. We normally see tops of breasts on display in a sexual way (i.e. Maxim). It makes people uncomfortable to see tops of breasts when a mother is feeding her baby. I cover my baby when we’re nursing in public, but I don’t mind others who don’t. It’s not the mother’s fault that we’re not used to seeing a woman’s body in a non-sexual way!

Keely, people are NOT uncomfortable with women showing the tops of their chest ..they are uncomfortable when a mom whips out the entire boob at any point in time just because they have milk to feed..pooping is also a natural act but not one person is willing to drop a duce any where because they feel the turtlehead ready for the light of day….Ms Pickler is doing a great job as an entertainer …this should be the topic of conversation not breastfeeding

I agree with Reeta! I am an ex-spouse of an USAF officer, and I think two wrongs NEVER make a right! Those two women nursing their own babies should NEVER have been punished; however, with all due respect to the USMC, this MAXIM mag should be punished also, and the fake marines! Oh, well, since Obama is prez, anything goes, so consider the source!

to the chic ranting and raving about those two women who were rightly reprimanded for their participation in the photo shoot breastfeeding in uniform – I think you’d have to prove these guys are real marines and not models for the shoot first before going off on your tirade.

Regardless of the debate of the breastfeeding issue, I think it is more in keeping to simply say a heartfelt thank you to Kellie whether or not she can carry a tune – she is taking the time to go out on USO tours and entertaining troups who badly need the time and attention that is provided by the USO. Hats off for being a generous spirit, Kellie.
