If two of Hollywood’s most stylish women are wearing the same thing, then it’s safe to say it’s a trend in the making.

Rihanna and Miranda Kerr were both recently spotted looking totally chic in side-striped pants. Apparently, the style isn’t just suited for a men’s tux or the gym anymore.

The Barbadian superstar took a more fashion-forward approach on the look while in London last month, working a red-and-pink Acne pantsuit, a floral bustier and $1,075 Simone Rocha white shoes.

Last week in N.Y.C., Kerr opted for $232 A.L.C. khaki cropped pants with a black stripe (Tip: a black stripe is flattering on everyone because it gives the illusion of being thinner — not that Kerr needs help in that department!) teamed with a blousy white tank and $595 tortoiseshell-print Jimmy Choo pumps.

Whether you’re looking to make an impact like Rihanna or searching for the perfect summer work ensemble à la the supermodel, one thing is for sure: we’re going to see a lot more of these trousers in the coming weeks. Tell us: What do you think of side-striped pants? Would you wear them? Vote below!
