Beyoncé Rocks New Braided Hairdo

Beyoncé is returning to her Destiny’s Child roots — and no, we’re not talking about those color-coordinated outfits she used to wear. She’s brought back her braids!

The superstar debuted her new extensions, wrapped up in a statement-making beehive bun, on Wednesday while in N.Y.C. with her daughter, Blue Ivy.

There were whispers that the singer was rocking long honey-hued braids at a party in the Meatpacking District earlier this week, but the new style didn’t make an official public appearance until now.

The hairdo is a major departure from the wavy, natural look she’s favored recently. It also seems as if she’s taken some inspiration from her sister Solange, who’s been sporting a similar look.

Apparently, Beyoncé’s adorable daughter is taking after her mom in the locks department: the little one already has quite a head of hair! Tell us: Do you like Beyoncé’s new hairdo?

i am a black woman, and have rocked long braids, actually I just took them out a week ago. I love long braids, but that bun is toooooooo much! It is not a good look.

And to the ppl who keep calling the race card, nothing I read was race specific. Just cause you LOVE Beyonce does not mean she walks on water. That hair is crazy! I understand she is a celebrity so she can do “cra’”, but put that same hairstyle on some girl at work, on the subway, in your college classes, or better yet, a female you are interviewing. It is toooo big, and yall know it! its nothing about race, it is what it is, and this is too much! (which is saying something cuz i love braids that go to the small of my back!)

Not sure what she was thinking. It is not at all flattering. I wish she would show us what we all really want to see: THAT BABY. She looks adorable from the back side. Now show us the front.

Why would someone comment on how Beyonce’s baby looks? How can anyone say that she’s cute, when you can’t and never have seen her baby’s face! Just the back of a head of fuzzy hair makes a baby cute? Is this her face?

Hate the hair style, but on Beyonce it looks alright. I feel like whatever she wears or does just ends up looking great.

Down to naming her kid Blue. I mean come on, thats a horrible name, but its Beyonce’s kid so it works.
