Beyoncé Has an ‘Angelina Moment’ at the BET Awards

The mega-slit trend is here to stay! Beyoncé showed off her enviable gams Sunday at the BET Awards, instantly giving us flashbacks to Angelina Jolie‘s leg moment at the Oscars.

The superstar flaunted her knockout post-baby bod in a stem-baring silk chartreuse one-shouldered Stephane Rolland gown teamed with ankle-strap sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewels; Jolie famously wore a black Atelier Versace creation to the Academy Awards earlier this year.

Beyoncé isn’t the only star to follow the future Mrs. Brad Pitt‘s lead: Jennifer Aniston, Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence (to name a few) have all recently showed some — OK, a lot — of leg. How come every time a celebrity wears a dress with a slit up the leg (like that’s unusual?), the media compares it to Angie? The difference between Beyonce and Angie–or Jennifer and Angie–is when they wear these dresses, they actually stand and pose normally and naturally! Not that awkward, over-emphasized, attention-desperate stance Angie assumed!

Beyonce could never measure up to Angie in any. Beyonce is so self absorbed and could never do anything for anyone else but herself. I watched her on the BET awards and she is not the most beautiful woman in the world not even close they must of ran out of candidates when they picked her

I’ve seen pics of Angie in other black dresses that flatter her, this one doesn’t. This shade of black, which appears to be a much deeper and darker shade, does not help her pale skin. It makes her look like an albino.
Beyonce, although I like the color of the dress, I don’t really care for the belt.
