Beyoncé Has an ‘Angelina Moment’ at the BET Awards

The mega-slit trend is here to stay! Beyoncé showed off her enviable gams Sunday at the BET Awards, instantly giving us flashbacks to Angelina Jolie‘s leg moment at the Oscars.

The superstar flaunted her knockout post-baby bod in a stem-baring silk chartreuse one-shouldered Stephane Rolland gown teamed with ankle-strap sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewels; Jolie famously wore a black Atelier Versace creation to the Academy Awards earlier this year.

Beyoncé isn’t the only star to follow the future Mrs. Brad Pitt‘s lead: Jennifer Aniston, Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence (to name a few) have all recently showed some — OK, a lot — of leg. AJ looks great as always. For those of you that say she is too pale, get over it, she is white. Beyonce is African American. She is a gorgeous woman of color. They both look fantastic.

Since when did Angelina Jolie claim the rights to this pose? I’m pretty sure that several others did it before: Marilyn Monroe, Jessica Rabbit, etc.

I’m offended by this article and I’m not even a Beyonce fan…….to even suggest that Beyonce is influenced by Angelina is offensive to Beyonce who has always had her own style…But leave it to mainstream media to give credit for Beyonce’s style to a white woman(a homewrecker at that)IJS…IJCILISI….
