Beyoncé Has an ‘Angelina Moment’ at the BET Awards

The mega-slit trend is here to stay! Beyoncé showed off her enviable gams Sunday at the BET Awards, instantly giving us flashbacks to Angelina Jolie‘s leg moment at the Oscars.

The superstar flaunted her knockout post-baby bod in a stem-baring silk chartreuse one-shouldered Stephane Rolland gown teamed with ankle-strap sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewels; Jolie famously wore a black Atelier Versace creation to the Academy Awards earlier this year.

Beyoncé isn’t the only star to follow the future Mrs. Brad Pitt‘s lead: Jennifer Aniston, Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence (to name a few) have all recently showed some — OK, a lot — of leg. From the way she is holding the dress…it looks like it is a one shouldered, one legged pantsuit. I don’t like it. (But my opinion doesn’t count, Ms. Knowles seemed to like it.) And for those who are telling Ms. Jolie to get some sun…PASTY white is IN!!! Suntans are cancer causing and can be totally avoided.

I think the bare to dare leg split is here to stay for a while and the drama it adds to the gowns these celebrities are wearing is pretty amazing!

mmmm, maybe I could see a resemblance between the two, but black classy velvet paired with a slit is a far cry from shiny yellow rayon looking with a wonder woman style belt. Just sayin’

Seriously, how can you compare the two! Beyonce is the QUEEN of the stage. Her legs have been commanding attention back before Angelina kissed her own brother! PLEASE don’t insult Beyonce by comparing and insinuating that she took a page from Angie.

Angelina does a deliberate/staged exposing if her leg and now everybody else is copying her? I don’t think so. If Beyonce’s leg is a “stem” I’d rather have a brown healthy stem over white malnourished stick, any day.

I have seen plenty of actresses show their legs and it was never an “Angelina Moment” lol

You should look up Ashley Judd’s Moment when she showed her leg in her above thigh high slit…that was an eyebrow raiser lol
