Kristen Stewart made big beauty news when she was named the face of Balenciaga’s newest fragrance, Florabotanica, and now fans can finally get a look at the gorgeous ad campaign.

During an interview with WWD, Stewart admitted she was unsure about how she should pose for the photos. “When I first stood there, I was like, ‘OK, do you want me to show the curves of the dress? Do you want me to stand like this? Like that?’ And they were like, ‘Just be comfortable.'”

Along with approving of the futuristic floral ad (shot by famed photographer Steven Meisel), she’s also 100 percent happy with the fragrance.

“There is something natural about it,” the On The Road actress explained. “It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it — considering that I’ve never worn a scent — it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‘Whoa, check me out.'”

The star also admitted that she was rather nervous to initially smell it. “I’m very lucky that I like the fragrance, because I would have done anything with [Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière],”she revealed. “And I’m a terrible liar.”

Florabotanica features notes of vetiver, amber and caladium-leaf accord, a (hybrid) rose, carnation and mint accord and is set to be released in September. Tell us: What do you think of the ad?

She ‘stuns’ alright! I’m stunned that anyone would find this ad or her look in this add ‘ahmazing’. Society REALLY does favor mediocrity!

Well, she looks pasty white and its definitely not her best look. But, hey, she even off screen she is completely and totally expressionless. She really does look kind of like Edward Scissorhands, just minus the sweet, endearing personality and all.

Her hair & face remind me of Edward Scissorhands.

This girl looks like she has chronic B.O. She also looks confused amongst that mess of an ad campaign. I just don’t get this “actress” whose range of emotion goes from pout to constipated. That is it. Sheez!

How is Kristen Stewart a “talented” actress is she only shows one facial expression…if you can even call it an “expression.” It’s more like a dead, blank stare. Does she ever smile? I think Balenciaga could have picked an actress that shows a better range of emotion or one that is actually pretty.
