Kristen Stewart made big beauty news when she was named the face of Balenciaga’s newest fragrance, Florabotanica, and now fans can finally get a look at the gorgeous ad campaign.

During an interview with WWD, Stewart admitted she was unsure about how she should pose for the photos. “When I first stood there, I was like, ‘OK, do you want me to show the curves of the dress? Do you want me to stand like this? Like that?’ And they were like, ‘Just be comfortable.'”

Along with approving of the futuristic floral ad (shot by famed photographer Steven Meisel), she’s also 100 percent happy with the fragrance.

“There is something natural about it,” the On The Road actress explained. “It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it — considering that I’ve never worn a scent — it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‘Whoa, check me out.'”

The star also admitted that she was rather nervous to initially smell it. “I’m very lucky that I like the fragrance, because I would have done anything with [Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière],”she revealed. “And I’m a terrible liar.”

Florabotanica features notes of vetiver, amber and caladium-leaf accord, a (hybrid) rose, carnation and mint accord and is set to be released in September. Tell us: What do you think of the ad?

I really like Kristen but I don’t think this is the best picture I’ve ever seen of her. Nice concept for the ad though.

What? She looks like a corpse.

To me, the ad is well balanced. Kristen, her dress, the flowers and the bottle are getting equal attention. In most perfume ads it is usually the face of the model that gets all the attention. I could look at this ad for a while to notice the shapes and colors. I like it.

looks like once again she needs to wash her hair and go out side and get little sun

I get what they’re trying to do artistically by combining a hard edge look on Kristen with soft florals but I don’t think it works. I hate this ad. I also think Kristen has beautiful bone structure and has looked gorgeous in several magazine layouts, but this is not her best look. As an aside, why would anyone buy a fragrance because of who it hires to be its face? Fragrances smell different on everyone – try it on and see how it smells on you to decide whether you want to buy it not.

Stuns??! Are you kidding me? She looks like a pasty mannequin. People magazine has low standards in what it considers beauty.

She ruins the dress standing like that and her hair is a mess.
