New season, new ‘do! Just in time for summer, Jennifer Lopez debuted a new hair color this week while in Santiago, Chile. The singer was snapped while out with beau Casper Smart on Monday, sporting a short, curly hairstyle (and an $84 moto jacket from her Kohl’s collection).

Lopez — currently on tour in Chile, Argentina and Brazil before coming to North America in July — has been working natural waves lately, a sexy contrast from her normally smooth, blown-out style. I like her new look, its the weather, she wants to try something different for a change. Maybe its the climate that she’s in.

I like it a lot. I think it makes her look younger and less severe, which is what I think when her hair is tightly pulled back. Also, to the people who have commented she made the change to fit better with her younger man — she is JLo. The man needs to fit her, not the other way around. We wouldn’t even be thinking like this if we were discussing a man’s relationship.

Why doesn’t anyone make snide comments about Ryan Seacrest dating Julianne Hough, she’s way younger then he is. They’ve been dating for 2 yrs and she’s only 22 yrs old now. Why is it okay for men to do it and not women?
