Kim and Kanye Wear Matching His & Her Air Yeezy IIs

Kim Kardashian didn’t have to wait for a pair of the highly coveted Nike Air Yeezy II sneakers — she just snagged a pair from her boyfriend (and the man who designed the shoe), Kanye West. Kardashian Tweeted a picture of the couple rocking the kicks on Tuesday with the caption, “His & Hers! #AirYeezys.”

For those of you who just said, “What’s an Air Yeezy?,” here’s a quick backstory on the hyped shoe: The Kanye West for Nike kicks are to sneakerheads as Christian Louboutins are to fashionable girls. Everyone wants them, but few actually get them. The “sole” difference? These sneakers are limited edition (it’s estimated that Nike released just 3,000 to 5,000 pairs worldwide), unlike designer heels, which you can easily purchase if you have the money to burn.

This past Saturday, the Air Yeezy IIs went on sale and sold out immediately; grown men camped out for a week outside stores (really, they did!) while others tested their luck via raffles and online contests. The retail price was $245, but the shoes are available on eBay for thousands of dollars, with one pair listed at $90,000.

So after all that commotion, the reality star who is barely ever not spotted in sky-high platforms got a pair — and all she had to do was date the designer.

It’s not rocket science. If you’re sick of them, anyone giving them attention makes you want to “vomit” (classy by the way) or you want People to stop publishing stories about them, stop commenting. Kardashian stories ALWAYS have the most comments, so people will continue to post them. As for how many starving children they could feed, the amount you are paying for internet access, smart phone, laptop, whatever it is you are posting from, ISN’T a necessity either and could feed a family in your town. The amount of people on here so concerned with the race she chooses to date is also so sad. She is in her thirties and has been linked to what, maybe 5 guys? Taylor Swift has as well, but because her’s are white it’s ok? By the way, I’m more of a Taylor fan than Kardashians, I just despise catty women.

I ought to slap myself for reading this article. I can’t believe that this is news. Anyone willing to pay $90,000 for a pair of shoes, is a complete idiot.
