Charlize Theron Shaves Her Head for ‘Mad Max’

She probably did it for a role, for her next movie. Or maybe she just wanted to take a break from taking care of/doing her hair. Or maybe because the weather is too hot. (I might do the same if it gets hotter in Europe. It’s boiling.)

It ages her.

It’s just hair, it will grow back. Besides, imagine the freedom of not having to look after it.

It’s for a role. With a face like that, she can do almost anything; she’s stunning!

It’s for the new Mad Max movie. And you know what… F-U, Charlize! F-U for being so f-ing incredibly beautiful that you can pull off a shaved dome. Ugh… you SICKEN me. ;)

Another upcomin role? You would think she would take a little time off for her new baby.

It really must be a slow celeb newsday if this is the “Top Story”…..lol…

Ummm…if the movie does not start until next month, why did she buzz her hair off now and try to hide it?? Attention seeking much?

She has a hat on, so how can anyone tell what she looks like with a buzz cut?? And the article tells us that she did it for a role in a movie. Geez (eye roll).

But why did she shave it off now when the filming doesn’t start for another month?

If she was proud of her new hairstyle-she wouldn’t be covering it up. Its a pity that she had to chop off her locks for a role…I hope the role is worth it. Charlize has beautiful hair. I cannot honestly give an opinion on her new do because she keeps covering it up. Is she embarrassed by how she looks?One has to wonder?

Can’t they just use a bald cap? That’s dedication to shave off your beautiful hair for a movie…it will take two years for it to grow back…wow..she must be paid really, really big bucks for that sacrifice..

The ONLY woman who looks good with short hair is Halle Berry. The rest look BUTCH like Ellen. YUCK!!!!!

She’s done short hair before, so this isn’t a huge leap. She can pull off the look.

That was a horrible decision!

I wish more women would shave their heads. I would love to do it. I imagine it is very liberating. Too many of us are defined by long hair!

Charlize would look good with any kind of hairstyle! She could go bald and she would look good. When that hat does come off and shows her very short style of cut, it will look great on her. She kind of reminds me of “Pink”. Don’t you think?

She did it before in The Astronaut’s Wife which is one of my favorite movies, although it was not shaved. She looks awesome with short hair!

She is beautiful, but she is not a natural blonde. The new hair is looking pretty black.

She’s gorgeous no matter what she does to her hair.

She’s one of those women who looks beautiful without long hair. Many famous women rely heavily on long hair to look good but Charlize doesn’t need it. A natural beauty.

remember when she first had a starring role as a platinum blonde hitman (her first venture out in America) ? It was only marginally longer than a brush cut and she looked amazing. I think its high time we see her keep it short even after this role is done. Its easier to style and cool for summer, too!
