Is Britney Spears Stepping Up Her Style Game?

Looks like someone is getting a style upgrade! Britney Spears brought her fashion A-game to the X Factor Kansas City auditions on Friday.

Surprising all of her fans by leaving her usual skintight mini at home, she stepped out in a white fit-and-flare Alaïa dress teamed with peep-toe Miu Miu platforms. She wore her blonde hair down and straight, giving a sophisticated finish to the lovely look.

This ensemble is an elegant departure from her first X Factor audition look — a plunging electric-pink Brian Lichtenberg mini and black pumps. Although Spears looked hot (and in better shape than ever!) in the sexy number, we definitely prefer this more fashion-forward version.

We were already pumped to watch the upcoming season of the show thanks to the lineup of new judges (which includes Demi Lovato), and now we have another reason: to find out what Spears will wear next. Keep the chic styles coming, girl!
