Kate’s Jubilee Dress: First Seen on Kim Kardashian

The Duchess of Cambridge was literally radiant in red for Sunday’s Diamond Jubilee festivities in London, wearing a pleated Alexander McQueen number paired with a matching hat. But as it turns out, we’ve seen this dress before — and, surprisingly, it wasn’t on Kate.

Kim Kardashian (who had another high-fashion faceoff last week) wore a similar version of the frock last August while in New York City. The reality starlet’s creation — a bit shorter — lacked the sleeves and boatneck detail of Kate’s dress. Kate paired her McQueen with nude pumps and a red clutch, while Kardashian accessorized with a statement necklace, metallic clutch and snakeskin platforms.

While it’s refreshing to see Kim K. in something that is not skin tight, pleated dresses do no mix with animal skin shoes and witch doctor necklaces! Also, the pleats work well with Kim’s curves but the horizontal detailing above should never be worn by curvy women. The dress does look good sleeveless, and of course looks great with long sleeves too. If Kim just simplified the accessories by ditching the necklace and pairing the dress with nude pumps she would have looked lovely.

Everybody that voted Kate is clearly just hating on Kim, cause well it’s Kim, the most hated person in America right now.
But dont be bias and judge on the fashion. Would you honestly wear Kate’s long-sleeved version with that ridiculous hat?!

The dress makes Kim look fat. Not at all flattering on her. Kate wears it well.

Kate is not demure. She almost always wears her dresses above the knee and with high heels. Its obvious that she tries to get away with as much leg as she can without offending the Royal family. She also wears a ton of eye makeup so you can barely see the colour of her eyes. She is not the stunner that she thinks she is. Princess Diana was truly a stunner.

Way to get page hits! The dress looks infinitely better on the Duchess for at least two reasons. Her version is a much more flattering length and the dress fits her better because of her much trimmer figure. Kardashian just looks like she was stuffed into hers.

The reason Kate has to keep herself thin is becuase she has almost no breasts. That is why she keeps her hips in line.
