Kate’s Jubilee Dress: First Seen on Kim Kardashian

The Duchess of Cambridge was literally radiant in red for Sunday’s Diamond Jubilee festivities in London, wearing a pleated Alexander McQueen number paired with a matching hat. But as it turns out, we’ve seen this dress before — and, surprisingly, it wasn’t on Kate.

Kim Kardashian (who had another high-fashion faceoff last week) wore a similar version of the frock last August while in New York City. The reality starlet’s creation — a bit shorter — lacked the sleeves and boatneck detail of Kate’s dress. Kate paired her McQueen with nude pumps and a red clutch, while Kardashian accessorized with a statement necklace, metallic clutch and snakeskin platforms.

Lol, normally I am not this mean but honestly People, how can you compare Lady and the Tramp? No question about it, Kate is classy, sophisticated and such a lovely lady. I will reserve my opinion about Kim.

It’s not so much a question of who’s classier (clearly Kate), but a lesson in what looks better of which body type.
Personally, I think the colour is amazing on both women, but the sleeves and slightly lower hemline flatter Kate’s slender build better than the halter neckline and shorter hemline on Kim’s busty and curvy build. If Kim’s dress had the sleeves OR the longer hemline OR both, I think it really would have come down to which body shape looks best with the dress.
In my opinion, the dress with sleeves and the above the knee hemline (vs. mid thigh hemline) would flatter both body types and looks classier – which in my mind is better for this dress.

The qiestion was which DRESS do you prefer. Putting aside my feelings for either person wearing it. I love a sleeveless short dress. That DRESS is cuter than Kate’s. Personalities are a competely different question…
