Kate’s Jubilee Dress: First Seen on Kim Kardashian

The Duchess of Cambridge was literally radiant in red for Sunday’s Diamond Jubilee festivities in London, wearing a pleated Alexander McQueen number paired with a matching hat. But as it turns out, we’ve seen this dress before — and, surprisingly, it wasn’t on Kate.

Kim Kardashian (who had another high-fashion faceoff last week) wore a similar version of the frock last August while in New York City. The reality starlet’s creation — a bit shorter — lacked the sleeves and boatneck detail of Kate’s dress. Kate paired her McQueen with nude pumps and a red clutch, while Kardashian accessorized with a statement necklace, metallic clutch and snakeskin platforms.

Catherine looks wonderful. Classy. Kim isn’t in the same class as Catherine , and never will be , no matter how much money she has.

The color and bottom half are the only similarities. Kim’s looks like it was folded up to shorten it. this caused the panels to gap and the pleats to fall across her hips and thighs making her look wider that she is. She has a very nice figure and if this dress would have fallen right above her knees, like Kate’s, they both would have looked quite lovely.

Kim in no way even compares to Kate who is elegant and beautiful in every sense of the word. Kim is pretty but comparing her to Kate doesn’t even come close….

Someone with such full hips should not be wearing a pleated dress that short. She’d look a 100 times better if the dress with just above the knee. Also, with a dress in such a vibrant color, she should have kept the accessories to a minimum.
I actually like the style of Kim’s dress a little better and it seems to have been fitted better to her as well. That being said, Kate does look classier, tho I do think she must have lost weight since her fitting as the dress is bagging around the stomach and sleeve areas.

irene you need a lesson on taste, class and an eye check up. kim rarely looks good in anything because her body is so disproportionate. her breasts and bottom are far too big for her petite frame. nothing to do with hating on the kardashians! that’s just the way it is!

Come on People, you knew the Duchess would win easily. Kate Middleton; the future Queen of England—DUH!!!
Kim with her very large derriere, (note to Kim, the pleats do not help your backside to look better at all), can only dream of looking like future Queen Katherine. Kate could wear a gunnysack and look better than Kim K., and about 99.9% of everyone else on the planet too.
