Kim Kardashian or Gwyneth Paltrow: Who Wore Her Pucci Dress Best?

Gwyneth started the trend — and now Kim is trying it!

At the Emmy Awards in September, Gwyneth Paltrow arrived in a midriff-baring lacy black number by Emilio Pucci. The open-back dress features ruffle details, intricate beading and lots of bling.

Fast forward to Tuesday, when Kim Kardashian arrived at Diddy‘s yacht party in Cannes wearing what appears to be the exact same dress. Days before, she wore a different Pucci number to promote her fragrance in London.

Kardashian is no stranger to wearing other stars’ styles; last year alone she did it about 15 times. Tell us: Who wore her dress best?

Kim looks like a stuffed sausage with lacy casing. The dress is lovely on Gwyneth’s slender figure. It reminds me of East Indian style.

It sickens me how people are always bad mouthing Kim Kardashian and her family. Yes, she has made mistakes, but then again who hasn’t? The only difference is she lives her life int he public eye, whereas we don’t. I’m sure that reporters would have a lot to say about some of the mistakes that you people make. She and her family have done well for themselves. They are SMART business people. This dress looks FANTASTIC on her, and more people should be voting for her. The only reason they aren’t is because of her name and it’s PATHETIC!

The reason why Kim K. wears the same clothes after others is because the woman who wore it first is an actual star. Whether you like her or not, Gwyneth is a Hollywood Star, she is the child of Hollywood stars, so yes she would get the dress first. Kim K. always looks like she’s a stuffed sausage. The clothes are so tight, I doubt she could even breath.

@guest. . .I absolutely do not care for Kim K. and part of it is that she seems to want to flaunt her body which is, shall we say, softig? In this case it looks as if she either stuffed into the dress or it was sprayed on. Maybe she didn’t realize it probably came in a larger size

I think both ladies bring a special something to the dress.

And speaking of the dress…. I’m surprised so many commenters are calling it tasteless. It literally shows the arms and a little belly–the rest is skintone fabric underneath lots of intricate lace. Nary a leg or bust to be seen! I’m at a loss for what the scandalous issue is.

Dear People Magazine–
When comparing only 2 celebrities wearing the same outfit, one uses the comparative form. Thus, you should be asking us readers “Who Looks Better?” Ask us “Who Looks Best?” only when comparing 3 or more celebrities. That would be the superlative form. [I thought only US Magazine made this error :( ]

@ Guest…I didn’t read the article, only the comments and even then, I skimmed them…Kim has made devious and deceitful mistakes (mistakes are when you get the wrong soda at the store or get 2 different size shoes or drop a glass or get the wrong phone number)…Kim has shown no respect for those around her or herself, she has proven multiple times she is shallow, self centered, greedy lacks intelligence and is a shameful child to her late father…BTW – it IS because of her name and how disgraceful her behavior has been – I would be saying this if it were anyone else behaviing the way she has…

It’s not jealousy of Kim at all to two women who claim that. I used to watch the show when nothing else was on but not anymore. I think most of the world is sick of the greed they constantly display and the “will sell our bodies and souls for cash” behavior. The wedding for ratings and money was the end of the line for me. Anyone with a bit of common sense can see that’s what it was about. Can’t see that? I guess you’re either blind or have no common sense-period!

Kim just looks fat, although she probably describes herself as “curvy” or “voluptuous”. The fat breasts and fat butt are not well showcased in this outfit; it’s for a slimmer person. While not the most beautiful dress, Gwyneth looks lovely and classy. But then compared to any of the K’s, Gwyneth would look lovely and classy in a paper bag.

To those saying anyone who doesn’t “see through what the Kardashians are doing” have no common since…that’s just silly. I think it’s more that most of us aren’t as emotionally invested in reality TV as you people who put SO MUCH energy in to hating them. I watch it, enjoy the fashion, but it’s entertainment. If you hate them, simply ignore them. That’s what I do when I dislike a celebrity. That seems like what someone with common sense would do.
