Did Miley Cyrus Show Too Much Skin at the Billboard Music Awards?

We know her style’s been getting sexier lately — short-shorts and tube tops, two-piece dresses, super-high slits — but was Miley Cyrus‘s latest fashion moment too racy?

The starlet showed up to the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night wearing a plunging white Jean Paul Gaultier blazer … and not much else. She paired the jacket with simple jewelry, black-and-white peep-toe shoes and makeup by Tarte.

“I love white on white,” she told PEOPLE while walking the red carpet. “I love a good white party.”

The outfit, though giving the appearance of airiness, was still quite warm, however. “There are nooks and crannies that get sweaty, I swear,” Cyrus added.

To be fair, the show did take place in Las Vegas, so most stars’ styles definitely had an extra dose of sexiness, but is showing this much skin inappropriate for a 19-year-old? Let us know what you think in the poll below!

i’m choosing to ignore the age-inappropriateness of what she was wearing, and her seemingly unhealthy thinness, and focusing on her hair, which looked fabulous!

I wish I had the body to pull something like that off. That being said, I would not wear something like that even if I did. She is 18, and can clothe herself however she feels fit. I think that it is too much, but then like I said, I would look atrocious if I had that much skin hanging out.

Really? if it had been Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Madona or whom ever, this would not be a problem and probably wouldn’t be a story. I do believe we have seen worse. I do however believe the hair and makeup make her look 40

I hope she had on some panties at least or maybe a pair of short shorts so that when she sat down everyone wasn’t exposed to her nether region showing! she really needs to act her age and stop rushing the process, we all get there soon enough. I love her hair, it was the only sophisticated thing about her look.
