Did Miley Cyrus Show Too Much Skin at the Billboard Music Awards?

We know her style’s been getting sexier lately — short-shorts and tube tops, two-piece dresses, super-high slits — but was Miley Cyrus‘s latest fashion moment too racy?

The starlet showed up to the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night wearing a plunging white Jean Paul Gaultier blazer … and not much else. She paired the jacket with simple jewelry, black-and-white peep-toe shoes and makeup by Tarte.

“I love white on white,” she told PEOPLE while walking the red carpet. “I love a good white party.”

The outfit, though giving the appearance of airiness, was still quite warm, however. “There are nooks and crannies that get sweaty, I swear,” Cyrus added.

To be fair, the show did take place in Las Vegas, so most stars’ styles definitely had an extra dose of sexiness, but is showing this much skin inappropriate for a 19-year-old? Let us know what you think in the poll below!

I think that it’s a bit much, but then again we have to remember that she is 19. And honestly, can anyone else say that we didn’t try to push the bounds at that age?

She has been allowed to dress like this since she was a small kid. I think really that less skin showing is more. I don’t think she’s figured out that not everyone wants to see everything she has. And I agree, I would want to sit where she sat, especially when she says it gets sweaty in nooks and crannies. UCK!!!!!!

I know she hasn’t worked in a while, so maybe her credit card got declined when she tried to pay for the rest of the outfit? She is trying way too hard to change her image. The hair and make up make her look like a washed-up tramp whose been around the block way too many times. She looked so beautiful at the Hunger Games premier — maybe she should go back to that stylist. Whoever told her this outfit was a good idea should be fired.
