We “like” this! While Mark Zuckerberg was taking his company public on Friday, his then-bride-to-be, Priscilla Chan, was quietly putting the final touches on her wedding gown.

For her surprise Saturday nuptials, Chan wore designer Claire Pettibone’s “Sky Between the Branches” gown, an ivory laser-cut floral dress adorned with matte sequins lined in silk. The gown featured subtle cutouts in the overlay, plus an illusion jewel neckline, sheer back and chapel-length train. The dress retails for $4,700 and is available on Pettibone’s website.

“She wore it with such grace,” Pettibone tells PEOPLE of Chan. “Her gown seems to perfectly capture her personality — understated and elegant with a touch of sparkle. It’s a perfect blend of femininity and fashion.”

Pettibone, a Los Angeles-based designer, has also created wedding gowns for stars like Mad Men‘s Elisabeth Moss and American Idol‘s Tamyra Gray, and even designed a bridesmaid dress worn by Cameron Diaz.

Zuckerberg and Chan married in a small ceremony in their Palo Alto, Calif., backyard on Saturday. Guests thought they were coming over for a surprise party to celebrate Chan’s graduation from medical school, however, the couple had been planning the wedding for more than four months.

Congrats to Mark & Priscilla! What a breath of fresh air! So smart, rich, and yet down-to-earth. They are as American as can be. Love them!!!

Two super wealthy people that could have the wedding anyone would envy but they choose to have a low-key event. I love that they are so modest and seem so down to earth. Congratulations to them and I hope their happiness lasts for the rest of their lives.

Just lovely. They are so not flashy, which is really nice for a change. Congratulations to both.

For people who have money, nice to see they kept it low key and not extravagant like other “celebrity” couples.

Congrats on their marriage!

Love this dress; it looks stunning on her. Good riddance strapless dresses; Thank you for a link to show us the back design, it is even more stunning!
She looks gorgeous; wishing her happiness.

Love the fact that they kept it simple. It is a breath of fresh air! Some people spend more time planning a wedding than married. It is something that they wanted to do at the right time for them in their lives. Good for them! Congrats!

Stunning bride. Her bridal gown choice is very elegant. It is wonderful that the strapless gowns are going out of vogue. Unless you are rail thin they are not attractive at all. I am also happy to see the lacing up the back of the dress take a sideline to a more elegant back look. Oh to be a bride now and not 4 years ago when the only dresses you could find were strapless and laced up the back.

Love the fact they had it simple: the ring, the dress and it was over the top. That is why they will continue to be sucessful —Cheers!
