It was a busy week for our favorite fashionable celebs, a week filled with premieres, launch parties and television network upfronts. We saw a lot of awesome — and a few not so awesome — trends emerge, too, so here we break down the two trends we’re obsessed with — and the one that shouldn’t be renewed.

Here’s what’s sizzling and what’s fizzling this week:

Up: Sexy abs-baring cutouts. If you’ve got it flaunt it, just like Nikki Reed, who showed off her sick stomach in a dusty-pink cutout dress.

Up: Look-at-me sheer pieces. Who says lingerie is just for the bedroom? Gisele Bündchen perfectly mastered the art of exposing her unmentionables in a sheer lace button-up paired with a pencil skirt.

Down: Wearing pantyhose in the spring. Just because Kate and Pippa sometimes wear pantyhose doesn’t mean everyone — we’re looking at you, Jennifer Love Hewitt — should. Even Kate has been ditching the ’80s trend in favor of more wow-worthy looks.

JLH’s legs look gorgeous in those shimmery nude pantyhose. Hosiery haters please go away.
