So long, short hair! For her latest film, Barefoot, Evan Rachel Wood is going long, wearing fake blonde hair on top of her closely cropped cut.

The actress shared a photo of her new do on her WhoSay page, exclaiming, “Long hair again!”

Wood debuted her pixie cut last summer at the True Blood premiere in Hollywood, cutting it to restore some health. “I had dyed it so many colors, that my hair was just done and it was time for a change,” she told InStyle.com. “I finally decided to cut it all off and start fresh.”

Initially going for a mohawk, the starlet settled on her pixie. “I knew I wasn’t going to be in front of cameras for a while when I did it, so I just went for it,” she shared, adding that it’ll be short for a while. “I have no plans to grow my hair long again.”

Barefoot, in theaters next year, is a dramatic comedy that focuses on a psych center patient (Wood) and the doctor she falls for. Tell us: Do you prefer Wood with short or long hair?
