Brad Pitt Is the New Face of Chanel No. 5

Brad Pitt is keeping busy amidst all the wedding planning — the actor was just announced as the new face of Chanel No. 5. The French fashion house confirmed the news to PEOPLE earlier this morning.

The Academy Award-nominated star is reportedly shooting his first ad in London sometime this week, according to E! News.

It’s the first time in history that the house has chosen a man to represent the fragrance. Pitt joins the likes of Nicole Kidman, Vanessa Paradis, Audrey Tautou, Ali MacGraw and Lauren Hutton.

According to reports, Pitt will be paid seven figures for his work; his ad will be released overseas later this year.

Brad Pitt will be the perfect spokesman/model for Chanel No.5……his face, name, body, anything about him, attracks female attention and adoration. As for his long hair – only a VERY masculine man can wear his hair as Brad does and still look desirable. He has the masculine face that makes it possible. His eyes and smile would make him desirable if he were covered in mud! Brad has matured from a “handsome heart-throb” to a mature, very sexy, very desirable, experienced man who knows who he is and does NOT have to look like everyone else. He is his own man…and women love it and him! No one wears a tux, suit, jeans casual – or nothing at all – better than Brad Pitt. Brad can have women of any age, social status or country “weak in the knees” simply by smiling at them, or just standing there. As is proven by the throngs of female fans that turn out any time he appears, anywhere. I hope the Chanel ads will appear in the USA..not just Europe. Can’t wait to see them.
Chanel No. 5 sales WILL soar….I know I will buy it…and I haven’t in years! Those of you who have so much negative to say about Brad – is it all tinged with a bit of “green-eyed envy?” I think so! Brad Pitt – he’s the BEST!

omg stop hating ppl!!!! i think he looks sexy and really handsome and if you dont think he deserves to be the new face of chanel and someone else like chris or ryan gossling deserves to be i just have to say they’re NOT BRAD PITT YOU GUYS HAVE TO UNDERSTAND BRAD PITT IS BRAD PIIT and if we count haw many ppl love him we would totally win so deal with it!!!!

When he dated Gwyneth, a friend of mine waited on him at a local restaurant in Westchester county. She said he was so dirty, greasy and smelly, she could not even enjoy that it was actually Brad Pitt.
