It was a busy week in Hollywood, and to catch you up on the action, our new Red Carpet Spotlight has photos of all our favorite stars’ glam (and not so glam) looks.

To recap the week, we’re breaking down the trends we’re pumped to see more of — and the one we’re totally over. So lets get to it! Here’s what’s sizzling — and what’s fizzling — this week:

Up: Springtime floral minis. Emma Watson proves she’s not in Hogwarts anymore by rocking a flirty floral skirt with an edgy black leather jacket, both by Miu Miu.

Up: The little white dress. The LBD will always be an essential, but the summer is all about Lea Michele‘s drop-waist little white dress; it’s chic, easy and looks fab with sun-kissed skin.

Down: Exaggerated high-low frocks. They don’t call it the “mullet dress” for nothing. We give credit to Glee‘s Heather Morris for the creativity, but we’d be a lot happier if that skirt was short all the way around.
