It’s a sure way to snag Spidey: in conjunction with the release of The Amazing Spider-Man, OPI is launching seven limited edition polishes inspired by the film.
The six nail lacquer shades include the white “My Boyfriend Scales Walls” (left) and coral “Call Me Gwen-ever” (right) plus midnight blue “Into the Night,” pink “Your Web or Mine?,” yellow-green “Just Spotted the Lizard” and nickel “Number One Nemesis.” There’s also a new shatter, the shimmery green “Shatter the Scales.”
“This film explores a new chapter in the Spider-Man legacy that’s going to be both dark and sexy,” Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI vice president and artistic director, says in a release. “The colors created for this promotion capture the movie’s exciting atmosphere.”
The film, starring real-life loves Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone (above, as Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy) hits theaters on July 3, but you’ll be able to get your hands on the polishes sooner: they’ll be available in salons, Dillard’s, JCPenney and ULTA stores (for $8.50 each) beginning in May.
