What’s the cost of beauty?

For Jennifer Aniston, it’s a whole lot less than you may have heard.

TheĀ Wanderlust star tells PEOPLE she can only laugh about reports sweeping the Internet that she runs up an $8,000-a-month tab for her beauty regimen.

“Although I am a sucker for an amazing moisturizer, love a great facial, have been using the same cleansing bar since I was a teenager and have always been a dedicated tooth-brusher, reports that I am spending eight thousand a month on a beauty regime are greatly exaggerated,” she says.

So what’s the true total? “By my tally,” she shares, “this month I’m in for about two hundred bucks.” Tell us: How much do you spend on beauty products each month?

Wanderlust was another flop and I swear she’s paying someone to keep her face in the news! She does absolutely NOTHING newsworthy!

Id she did spend $8,000 a month on a beauty regimen, she had better ask for a refund because it’s not working. Her forehead looks like 50 miles of bad road.

Whatever she spends she doesn’t look any better I don’t think she is pretty at all!

I love her. I have no doubt that she doesn’t spend that kind of money, although my guess would be that it is higher than $200 but then again she does get a lot of freebies so maybe she’s talking “out-of-pocket” costs to her. Either way, love her!

It is absolutely ridiculous to believe she spends $200 a month on her appearance. Between hair maintenance (monthly highlights would set her back $500-$800 at top salons, not to mention hair extensions), personal trainers and yoga instructors, the figure is already in the thousands of dollars. Plus skin care (she has claimed to love Creme de la Mer, which is an extremely expensive line), waxing, facials and tanning.
Look, I don’t judge her at all for investing in her appearance. I invest in mine and her earnings are significantly larger. She is over 40 and looks great — why should she be embarrassed that she takes care of herself? So why, why lie about it in such a ridiculous way?

there is NO way she only spends $200/month on her beauty regime. a facial alone is $150 +

She probably varies, when she is at home I doubt
she goes in for a touch up as often. At any
rate I’m sure it’s no where near $8000. She
is still looking really good and it is her
business. She is in the business and needs to
keep up her appearance.

Why is okay for some people, average people like you and me to spend (overspend) monthly on products, shoes etc, putting ourselves in debt (I said some, not all) but for an A-list celebrity who earns millions of dollars a year, to my knowledge has no debt, donates to society and charity – why can’t they spend thousands of dollars a month on what I consider maintenance that is pertinent to what they do for a living. Jennifer spending $8000 a month on her beauty is like me spending $100 a month. It’s her money, she earned it, she can spend on whatever she wants, IMO.

I am reading all the post from all of you guy’s and I am amazed that you can put down a person that hasn’t done a thing to you in order to be put down by you. It is amazing the way she still looks wonderful at the the age of 43 years old. If she is spending only $200 on her beauty regimen, why is it your business and why are you putting her down for it.

If she gets freebies, don’t you get some when you go to the beauty counter at the store (Macy’s, Bloomington). Leave her alone and live your own life.
