Rihanna Reveals Her Dream Hair Color

Red? Been there. Blonde? Working it now. Rihanna has rocked a rainbow of hair colors, but there’s one that’s eluding her: blue.

“Navy blue is my color right now,” she tells PEOPLE. “Not any blue, not the punk blue. I have yet to see the right one. It does not exist yet!”

What’s her inspiration? “Everyone’s rockin’ blue right now,” she says. “It just works. I think it has something to do with Blue Ivy,” she adds jokingly.

While blue may be her dream color, don’t expect to see it anytime soon. “My next color is actually black,” the singer (and face of Vita Coco Tropical Fruit) reveals. “I’m going to exhaust [the blonde] before I go black because black is easy.”

Not that the blonde is over yet, either. “I’m having fun with it,” she says. “It was an easy change from my natural color, and I thought I would regret going black before blonde, so I kind of just went there, and it keeps getting lighter and lighter.”

And who knows — she may even skip the black and navy all together. “From blonde you can go to anything,” she explains, “so I might want to try something else before [black]. You know how that goes.” Tell us: What hair color do you want to see on Rihanna next?
