New work, new hair … is Lindsay Lohan actually staging a comeback?

The actress returned to her roots Thursday, entering a Los Angeles salon with blonde hair and leaving with red. Lohan rose to fame as a redhead, sporting the locks in her early hits like The Parent Trap and Mean Girls. After her trip to the salon, Lohan ran errands with sis Ali — who happened to cut her hair earlier this week.

Lohan has changed hair colors a lot in recent years, generally bouncing between brunette and bright blonde. So perhaps her return to red signifies yet another change; last week, she told Matt Lauer that partying “isn’t my thing anymore,” and last month, a Los Angeles judge told her she “seems to be getting [her] life back on track.” Tell us: Do you like Lohan best as a redhead?

I was waiting for the day went back to red. As a red head myself, I know she has the coloring of a red head. The blond was washing her out and making her look so harsh. This is a much better look for her. I just hope she sticks with it, and does not go back to blond. I hope she finally is getting her life together.

She looks SO much better as a redhead. It isnt even close. The blond hair looked so fried and unhealthy, the red hair looks great! I hope she keeps it!!

SOOOmuch better closer to her natural color. However, who does her hair? Tone it down a bit to an auburn, not carrot red, and she will look adorable like the old days.

A billion times better. I hated the blonde on her, it made her look all washed out! Maybe this is the return of Lindsay Lohen. Stay strong girl!! And keep the red hair!!
