Heidi Klum and Her Mom Get Matching Haircuts

They’re two cute! Heidi Klum and her mother, Erna, got matching haircuts earlier this week during a visit to the Frédéric Fekkai Melrose Salon. The ladies both had their hair cut and colored by Michel Aleman — Klum’s featured hair expert on her AOL site — and afterward, posed for a photo.

“My beautiful mom and I got a new haircut,” Klum Tweeted. “Thank you Michel Aleman. We love you!”

Klum, who’s tried this choppier style before, recently worked a longer look, which she’d been wearing in a ponytail these past few months. The model, who split from husband Seal in January, opens up about family in the new issue of ELLE. Tell us: Do you like the Klums’ cuts?

I read all these comments about how their haircuts don’t match. I, for one, can’t really tell since one side of the mom’s hair is flush against Heidi’s head. I’m guessing that since the article mentioned that Heidi’s hair used to be in a long ponytail, that Heidi had more hair to work with, thus she kept some length which mamybe her mom didn’t have. However, they both have straight, blonde hair parted on the side with long bangs. That much I can see. … That said, they both look adorable and her mom is as cute as a button!

No, they are two different hairstyles. Similar but not alike. Also, one should never start a sentence with “They’re”….it’s “They are” and there is a huge difference between “Two, Too and To”………just saying.

Semantics people, sheesh…. The styles are very similar, and the author’s use of the spelling of “two” was meant to be a play on words. Additionally, Heidi’s hair only looks longer on one side, because of the way it’s parted – trust me, I have the same haircut, and when I part mine like she has hers, my left side is longer-ish. Anyhoo – they both look great, and her mom’s haircut, which is slightly different than Heidi’s, suits her face shape and is more age appropriate than if she had mimicked Heidi’s cut.

First, “they’re” cute is grammatically correct, since it is a contraction for
“they are.” And they are cute. Her mom could use more shaping of the hair around her face to modify the roundness (I know because I have the same issue.) Both haircuts appear to be slightly asymmetrical. But the point is they’re matching, (they are matching,) not identical.

Heidi and her Mom look very much alike! Cute photo! Their haircuts are not alike, however. The color is, but not the “cut”. (Heidi’s hair doesn’t even look “cut”, actually.)

Zita, it was a play on the word “two”. AND it is perfectly acceptable to use “they’re” seeing that it means the same thing as “They are”; it’s simply a contraction.

Okay really, is there anything else to report about then Heidi Klum and her Mom’s haircuts???????? People don’t give a damn about the colour of their hair or their cuts and the only reason I am saying this is that we would like to read something worthwhile and not this! Wow!

To me, they look like the same haircuts, only mom’s is shorter. They’re both side-parted, with bangs and a long layer. They both got the age-appropriate versions.

Just be careful please, Heidi. You are cutting your hair now, probably as a result of low self-esteem after being dumped. What will happen next? Some women gain weight or start smoking or turn to drugs and alcohol. Please be careful, go see you therapist before you do something even more drastic. That man isn’t worth it.

That’s a hair style? I could cut it better than that. For one thing, it’s all uneven. Looks like it’s been chewed off by a chain saw. And why would anyone want hair hanging down in her eyes? Yuck

I don’t think the cuts are matching….
They are similar….
Heidi’s mom looks great…she’s got a shorter version in length, more of a bob….and she has blunt cut bangs.
Heidi, has swept longer bangs, and below the shoulder length hair.
The only thing I would call ‘matching’ is the hair color….
They are both are very beautiful women……

There are some good genes going on in that family. Both mom and daughter look fantastic. I like that the style was slightly altered to fit each ones age, style and facial shape. That is one smart hairdresser.

I am amazed at the nit picking. They have Matching hair styles, they don’t have Identical hairstyles. Matching meaning they are showing how one style of cut can be adapted for different ages/people. They have bangs, swept to the side and are blonde and they match each other. I have shoes and purses that match…..

Uh, that’s her ORIGINAL nose – she and her mother have the exact same bridge, sides of the nose – only Heidi’s lost like 70% of the bulbousness.
