Kris Humphries isn’t the only member of his family with a cool job: his older sister, Kaela, just inked a deal with FORD Models’ FORD + division, which specializes in plus-size talent.

“The division that brought you Crystal Renn, Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine and Marquita Pring among others is excited at the prospect of bringing this beautiful, engaging young woman to markets worldwide,” the agency said in a release. “A true size 16-18, Kaela will be in a league of her own.”

The Minnesota native made her runway debut in the fall, walking in the over-the-top Richie Rich show during New York Fashion Week. She also appeared on Kim & Kourtney Take New York, and the recent CW semi-reality show Remodeled.

“There’s a word that I can’t stand, this world ‘plus-size’ model,” Paul Fisher, a longtime modeling agent featured on Remodeled, told Zap2It earlier this year when asked about Humphries. “Kaela, they call her a plus-size model. I don’t even know what this word plus means. She’s normal. She’s perfect. She’s beautiful.” Tell us: Are you excited to see more from Humphries?

Actually Miriam, 16-18 is normal for some women. Look at her brother, they are a tall big boned family. On average plus sized models are healthier than their ‘regular’ model colleages.

she is fat..

Look at the picture of that woman! Do you see fat?? I see beautiful!! That is whats wrong with our society we are so caught up in numbers!! Why cant we just look at each other for the person we are not the size big or small. Lets appreciate each other for who we are and not the number that is assigned!!

She’s also really tall though, look at her brother. It is more evenly spread out then on a normal person.

Oh, the irony of someone saying that a 16-18 is “too much” when they themselves are a 10-12. Well, by the size of your pants – the fashion industry would call YOU plus-sized. How does that feel for “too much”?

What a knockout! She is startling pretty! Good for her!

Her face is really pretty. I think she probably dropped a couple of pounds though because in other pictures she doesn’t look size 16-18.

I am glad to see more plus size models getting work, but to me the real story will be when an average size girl gets a modeling job.

Today in the world of modelling a size 6 is considered a plus size which is flat out WRONG. This sends a horrible message to young men and women who are trying to find their place in the world and who already have issues with their hair, face, nose. It is sad that we have to give a number to someone. The media judges a woman by what size she is rather than if she is a nice person or a complete b****!! Their is nothing wrong with someone who is a size 16, 18, 20, 22 or 24. This woman is beautiful and I wish her nothing but best wishes.
