The Girls of 'The Hunger Games' Get Silly for 'Seventeen'
What do you get when you mix five soon-to-be-huge stars with Seventeen magazine and some stylish spring clothes? A really cute fashion spread spotlighting the leading ladies (a.k.a. tributes) of The Hunger Games. Actresses Leven Rambin (Glimmer), Isabelle Fuhrman (Clove), Jacqueline Emerson (Foxface), Willow Shields (Prim) and Amandla Stenberg (Rue) recently came together to model the latest denim trends for the magazine, and had a blast reuniting.
“[The shoot] was definitely a good time,” Fuhrman tells PEOPLE. “We played a lot of music and danced around. That’s always so important because we became such close friends over the summer [while filming], so we talk about boys and music.”
The girls — who got along great on set — sang along to Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything” while catching up and posing for photos. “We know the words to all of it — that’s our song,” Fuhrman says. “There’s a video of all of us in one of the trailers just dancing to it.”
When they weren’t singing and dancing, the stars modeled denim from Levi’s, Mango, J Brand and more. Furhman particularly loved her clothes — according to an on-set source, she didn’t even want to leave the shoot, and afterward, she made her photo from Seventeen the background on her Twitter page. “I loved that picture,” she recalls. “The entire outfit was so fun.”
