Miley Cyrus Takes Five Inches Off Her Hair

First a new puppy, and now, a new look. Miley Cyrus debuted a fresh new haircut Friday after lunching at Wokcano Restaurant in West Hollywood.

“Just got a hurrrr cut,” the singer Tweeted that day, later adding, “I didn’t do anything to crazy. But I did take 5 inches off!”

Though Cyrus hasn’t changed her hair’s long length in quite some time — her last major cut was in June of 2010 — she has played color chameleon over the years, going super dark (and then light again) in 2008. (She cut bangs that year, too.)

Her new do is definitely lower maintenance, and probably a nice change for the young star, but we want to know what you think. Tell us: Do you like Cyrus’s new haircut?

I’m thinking that if she says she got a haircut that she got a haircut. he hair in the “before” picture was a whole lot more than 5 inches longer than the after shot, so perhaps she took out hair extensions plus got a haircut. BTW, my hair is just about the same length as the “before” picture. Not high maintenance at all. Just wash, air dry and you’re ready to go!
