Robert Pattinson (Almost) Shaves His Head

Rob, is that you? Robert Pattinson popped up at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles Wednesday night sporting another new look: a buzz cut. The actor — who shaved half his head for a movie role this summer, then grew it back in time for the Breaking Dawn press tour — was on hand to accept the award for favorite drama movie, which went to his Water for Elephants.

Pattinson — who enjoyed the awards from a front-row seat next to Betty White — kept his look casual, opting for a short-sleeved blue button-down shirt and jeans. He received his award from Chuck star Zachary Levi and Twilight costar Ashley Greene.

Without a new role in his future (that we know of) we’re wondering if Pattinson’s new look is just for fun. Tell us: What do you think of Pattinson’s buzz cut?

I like the new haircut. I think it makes him look a bit more mature and a LOT less teenager-like. I mean, the guy IS over 20+ now and I think this cut brings out his GORGEOUS greenish-blue eyes!!! Yummmmy!

He looks great either way. It is his personality that appeals to me, the looks are a side benefit. He has a gorgeous face and eyes and the haircut shows that off. I am not a fan of buzz cuts but for Rob I will deal with it and his hair grows extremely fast!!

In my opinion why does it matter if his hair is different? Isn’t this not the first time he has had this style? Wasn’t it back in 2008 that he had it really short after Twilight came out? But I think this time it is more buzzed. He doesn’t seem to be filming a movie at present so why does it matter to anyone? This past summer it was weird that he continued wearing the Cosmopolis haircut long after the movie wrapped (appearing at Comic-Con with the style) but maybe he was just having fun with it. The bottom line is it isn’t anyone’s business but his.

Im a huge fan but just never understand why he doesn’t class it up. He should have worn a suit or at least a jacket. He is exposed to several stars and producers he’s never met before at these award shows and should be at his best appearance. I think the new hairdo will hurt him getting roles.

He’s not Samson! All of his talent was not in his hair!! Maybe he was hoping for a break from all those girls asking to be bitten and touch his hair!!
